Mobile Journeys is a national initiative exploring the creative potential of mobile devices. It intends to inspire and challenge you to change the way you think about and use your phone; to encourage you to be a producer as well as a consumer; and to stimulate critical debate about how mobile devices might shape our future. Mobile Journeys has entered into its Second Phase which involves the commissioning of artists to create works for mobile devices that build on experiences and debates begun in Phase 1. Outcomes of Phase 2 can be seen at the Opera House in August as part of dLux’s annual d>Art exhibition. Mobile Journeys is now calling for proposals for its commissioning program.
