is an episodic microsoap for mobile phone, using
machinima techniques (that is, some images are derived
from computer games). It follows the adventures
of Sarrorn, a young woman in complex circumstances,
who experiments with her love life with unfortunate
results. |

| geniwate has created many artworks
using networked and programmed media, many of which
have been published internationally. These include
rice, co-winner of
the 1999 trACE-Alt-X International Hypertext Competition
and concatenation,
winner of the 2004 Mayne Award for Multimedia at
the Adelaide Festival. Her work has been exhibited
at ACMI and the NGA website. geniwate (aka Jenny
Weight) lectures in networked and programmed media
at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Previously Jenny worked as an editor and a multimedia
producer. She researches various aspects of networked
and programmed media including the internet, mobile
phones and computer games. |
