Anita Fontaine
Australian artist Anita Fontaine creates conceptually challenging and surreal experiences to expand the parameters of new media, videogames and the moving image. Her previous installations, which include Cutexdoom, a videogame-mod which explores the obsession with cuteness in Japan, has been exhibited internationally. Until recently, she lived in Canada, where she worked at the Banff New Media Institute designing location based mobile game experiences. Her latest artwork, a GPS based cinema experience entitled Ghostgarden, takes the viewer out of the museum on a cinematic journey around a garden environment. Ghostgarden was exhibited at the Ars Nova museum in Finland early in 2007. Anita currently lives in Boston, USA where she brings her creative sensibilities to work with her at an award winning advertising agency Modernista! She also co-owns the design studio Champagne Valentine who cater to a tasteful selection of clients such as Vh1 and Diesel. She considers life a fairytale.

Mike Pelletier
Canadian artist Mike Pelletier holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art and Design's Media Arts and Digital Technologies program. He currently works as a freelance designer and programmer. Previously he spent 5 years working in the Banff Centre's Creative Electronic Environment, initially as the Creative Computer Technician and more recently as the Manager of the Interactive Media Department. During his time at the Centre he worked with hundreds of artists to help them realize their projects and overcome numerous complex technological hurdles. A practicing artist himself, Mike's work involves everything from drawing to videogame modifications and has been featured in exhibitions internationally. Links: www.pelletron.org
